Pastors Marty and Ronda Shea are the founding pastors of Village View and have pastored churches in Pennsylvania and Florida for over 40 years. Pastor Marty graduated from Anderson College and also attended Anderson Theological Seminary and Masters International Seminary. Ronda graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, PA, with a degree in Christian Education and serves as the Discipleship Pastor. They have three grown children: Jessica Saint, Ocala, FL; Jennifer Saint, Dunnellon, FL; and Jon Shea, Tampa, FL who have given them 16 grandchildren.

The Sheas were asked to plant a church in The Villages area with a simple goal – helping people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential and experience living out God’s purpose for their lives. Village View Community Church launched on Easter Sunday, 1998, with a small team of 30 people. Today over fifteen hundred people attend the weekend services and more than 800 members gather in small groups all over the Tri-County area to experience life together. God is at work at Village View.
